Yunnan is China's mushroom kingdom, home to over 800 species of wild fungi. Our mix brings together four of the most prized varieties â matsutake (known as "pine mushroom" in Japan), porcini, morel, and golden chanterelle â all hand-foraged by ethnic minority villagers in the highland forests of northern Yunnan.
Each mushroom is carefully cleaned and naturally sun-dried within hours of picking, locking in its distinctive aroma and umami-rich flavour. No preservatives, no bleaching â just pure forest essence.
How to Use: Soak in warm water for 20 minutes, then add to risottos, broths, stir-fries, or pasta. The soaking liquid is liquid gold â strain and use as stock.
